The arduous search for minor Anderson Erick Riveros Vásquez (17) continues along the banks, waters, islets and places of the fearsome Sicra River.

Police officers from the Lircay police station and the Huancayo Emergency Squad arrived at the place called Manllacc – Lircay, for which they submerged themselves in the waters of the tributary, using rescue equipment and even lifeboats.

The result of the search is negative until the closing of this edition.

As we reported, the minor Anderson Erick was traveling on January 30, 2022 driving a mototaxi with license plate 5286-8C on the road that connects Lircay with Julcamarca, when, passing through the Manllac area, the unit suffered an oversight.

The overturned unit was found on the riverbank, however, for 18 days the minor’s body has been intensively searched by the uniformed men, the minor’s family does not lose hope of finding the body and giving it a Christian burial.
