Minsa announces recruitment process for specialist doctors

The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported through the National Directorate of Human Resources that given the low turnout to fill the positions in the different medical specialties in the past months of September and November, the process of hiring national and foreign doctors continues. .
Among the specialties are for the Health Region of the Ngäbe Buglé region; gynecology and obstetrics (4); family medicine (3); internal medicine (2); pediatrics (4); psychiatry (2) and public health (1).

While for the Chiriquí Health Region: cardiology (2); dermatology (1); geriatrics (2); internal medicine (2); pulmonology (1); psychiatry (2); urology (2).

Interested national professionals must submit their documents in original and copy, to be checked at the Human Resources Directorate of the Ministry of Health (Headquarters-Ancón), from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and interested foreign professionals at the General Directorate of Public Health.
The Minsa indicated that, given the low attendance of national doctors to the calls made by the Minsa, the concurrence of foreign doctors is necessary and thus be able to provide health services to the Panamanian population. Foreign doctors must comply with the provisions of article 4 of Law 69 of 2013 and article 7 of Law 80 of 2013.
