Gaby Carrizo: “Darién will have first-class roads and a modern hospital”

A Saturday for history was experienced by the Darien communities of Metetí and La Palma with the impressive reception of José Gabriel Carrizo.

A presidential candidate has never been received in this way in the entire history of Darien.

From very early on, thousands of people arrived at both concentration points from different sectors of the province and the Emberá Wounnan region.

In Metetí the attendance was impressive, in the midst of dancing, singing, displays of affection, a motorcycle ride and many selfies, Gaby headed towards the place of the concentration. In the shopping plaza where the event was held, another enthusiastic crowd was waiting for him and did not stop expressing their support for him.

«Being able to mobilize this number of people in the middle of the day, with a bright sun and a lot of heat, can only be done by machinery like the PRD. With my people from Metetí and all of Darién I commit that their modern hospital will be built and they will have first-class roads,” said Gaby.

Accompanying Gaby on her tour of Darién were the candidates Jaime Vargas, Eduardo Paz (deputies); Ignacio Turner (Mayor Chepigana); Nadine González (mayor Pinogana); Pepo Ibargüen (mayor of Santa Fe); Francisco Agapi Chami (mayor Cémaco); the candidates for representatives Ángel Peralta (La Palma Cabecera) and Maribel Canto (Metetí); among others.
