The blocking devices, as well as the tracking and control operations of the National Police, result in the arrest of a citizen, an alleged suspect in the double homicide, registered in the province of Colón.
Commissioner Roberto Rodríguez, Head of the Colón Police Zone, indicated that one of the deceased has a criminal record for the crime Against Life and Personal Integrity in the form of Homicide and Against Public Safety. The double homicide was allegedly perpetrated in the community of Santa Rita Arriba, Sabanitas District.
Investigations determine that the alleged motive for the double homicide originated from old disputes between criminal groups. A taxi vehicle arrived at the aforementioned location where the alleged aggressor shot the victims and another person who was injured with a firearm.
