DNCD is looking for a man linked to an international drug trafficking network

Santo Domingo.- The National Directorate for Drug Control (DNCD) reported this afternoon on a persecution against a man linked to an international drug trafficking network, which uses the country’s airports and ports, to bring narcotic substances into Dominican territory.

The agency reported that the defendant has an arrest warrant and reported that both he and others involved are being followed up to be arrested and brought to justice for violation of Law 50-88.

The man managed to escape from a DNCD unit, which tried to intercept him on the John F. Kennedy avenue overpass, on Abraham Lincoln, left the vehicle abandoned and evaded pursuit.

The DNCD and the Public Ministry urge the fugitive to turn himself in to the authorities so that he can answer for the facts.
