BPS opened a call for 500 administrative assistants with nominal salaries of $52,000

According to the bases of the call, the tasks to be carried out are: serve and advise internal or external users through the different channels, evacuating queries about unit procedures, carrying out actions and recording movements in files within the systems used by the organization, carrying out the analysis and processing of the documentation that be assigned.

In turn, other tasks will include receiving and sending information through the computer systems and applications used in the organization, collaborating in different work teams at the request of their superior and complying with any other activity related to their powers that be entrusted by his hierarchy.

The requirements to apply are to be a natural citizen or have 3 years or more of legal citizenship, have completed high school or professional technical education, be between 18 and 40 years old, not work in the public administration, except in cases authorized by law, and not have been removed from a public body.

8% of the vacancies must be covered by people of African descent and 1% by trans people.

Those selected must work 40 hours a week and registrations can be made through the website: contests.bps.gub.uy from this Wednesday, December 28, until 4:00 p.m. on January 11, 2023.
