Another Nicaraguan migrant dies in the United States as a result of a heart attack

Preliminary versions indicate that Silvio Meza Morales, 36, a Nicaraguan migrant in the United States, died possibly due to a heart attack, reported the organization Texas Nicaraguan Community (TNC).

The event occurred yesterday, Thursday May 9, at approximately 11 in the morning in the Bronx neighborhood, in New York, United States. The victim is originally from the municipality of San Francisco Libre, department of Managua.

“The deceased (was) a hardworking person dedicated to the Christian church, he had emigrated a year and a half and worked at night in demolitions,” explains TNC in a publication on its Facebook page.

Relatives of Meza Morales told the organization that they looked at the victim lying in his bed with his lips and face of a different color. They tried to wake him up, but he did not respond. They immediately called the emergency service. The man had already died.

“They have not yet given the forensic report, but the paramedic told (his relatives) that apparently (the death) was the result of a heart attack,” TNC notes in the publication.

“He went to the USA to look for opportunities for his family and now he leaves two children, ages 12 and 8, orphaned and in a difficult situation, since his sister is trying to raise the funds to be able to repatriate him to Nicaragua,” he highlights.
