What you need to know to withdraw your AFP according to DNI: who can access it, schedule and more

The of AFP funds, by members of the Private Pension System (SPP), began on June 13. This, thanks to the fact that the Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and AFPs (SBS) approved the operating procedure.

In this sense, the users of this pension system have benefited from Law 31478 approved by the Government, in order to alleviate the economic crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic and current inflation.

Remember that all members of the AFPs, who are not of retirement age, will be able to withdraw funds. Thus, during the week of Monday June 20 to Friday June 24, can submit their request for the withdrawal of up to 4 UIT all those users who have the DNI whose number ends in the following digits: 7, 6 or 5.

Therefore, if this is your case, you should pay attention to the following programming:

  • Monday, June 20, 2022: Users with last digit DNI 7.
  • Tuesday, June 21, 2022: Users with last digit DNI 6.
  • Wednesday, June 22, 2022: Users with last digit DNI 6.
  • Thursday June 23, 2022: Users with last digit DNI 5.
  • Friday June 24, 2022: Users with last digit DNI 5.


According to the Association of AFPs, you can make the request for free and through its official channel. To do this, verify that you can access the web page, according to the established schedule and follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to . You have access to the web from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 6 pm
  2. On the page you will have to enter the requested data: DNI, verification digit and date of birth. After this, you must give click in ‘consult’.
  3. If you are ‘suitable’ for withdrawal, you can complete the form with the following information from your DNI: date of issue, expiration date and voting group.
  4. In addition, you must verify your identity, with information such as the place of deposit, residence and details of your financial institution. Finally, you will be able to register the request.


Remember that the application submission schedule covers other dates, according to the last number of your National Identity Document (DNI). This programming is valid for affiliates living in Peru and abroad. Pay attention to the next set dates:

  • Last digit DNI 9: Next Application Date 12th of July.
  • Last digit DNI 8: Next Application Date July 13.
  • Last digit DNI 7: Application date June 20 and July 14.
  • Last digit DNI 6: Application date June 21, 22 and July 15.
  • Last digit DNI 5: Application date June 23, 24 and July 18.
  • Last digit DNI 4: Application date June 27, 28 and July 19.
  • Last digit DNI 3: Application date June 30, July 1 and July 20
  • Last digit DNI 2: Application date July 4, 5 and 21.
  • Last digit DNI 1: Application date July 6, 7 and 22.
  • Last digit DNI 0 or another character: Application date July 8, 11 and 25.

If you did not submit the application during the dates established in the schedule, remember that you can do it from July 26. Therefore, these requests will be received until September 10, the day on which the 90 calendar days established by law expire.

  • Free period: Application date of July 26 to September 10.


According to Association of Pension Fund Administrators (AAFP)from June 13 to 16, a total of 423 thousand 486 requests of those affiliated to the Private Pension System (SPP).

  • Monday June 13: They registered 103,296 requests.
  • Tuesday June 14: They registered 84,980 requests.
  • Wednesday June 15: They registered 154,567 requests.
  • Thursday June 16: They registered 80,643 requests.

“Despite the fact that some affiliates initially reported that they had problems accessing the withdrawal website, the number of requests received and processed satisfactorily is significant, and currently everything works normally”said the union.

  • Law 31478 published in the Official Gazette El Peruano on May 21, 2022, extraordinarily authorizes members of the AFPs, except for those already receiving a pensiona new withdrawal of its funds, to face the economic impact of the covid-19 pandemic.
  • The AFP is responsible for arranging the suitable means to make the payment effective.aimed at maximizing service coverage for members who requested extraordinary and optional withdrawal, being able to sign agreements with companies in the financial system or others that facilitate payment, and must guarantee that the payment corresponds to the amount requested by the member.
  • The operating procedure indicates that the AFP is responsible for carrying out the judicial or conventional withholding, only with respect to those pronouncements derived from child support debts, up to a maximum of 30% of the amount withdrawn in each disbursement, in accordance with the provisions of the law.


You must open a personal bank account (not joint) in one of the entities authorized by the SBS. Remember that, this time, one will not be created at the time of making the request. These are the establishments that have authorization from the Superintendence of Banking, Insurance and AFP:

  • Bank of Commerce
  • GNB Bank
  • ripley bank
  • Huancayo box

  • Banco de la Nación (only in areas where there are no other financial entities)
