In addition, the document shows that the entities carried out an “urgent procedure for the acquisition of fuels without a declaratory resolution from the highest authority, for an amount of RD$12,660,000., as well as the” acquisition of goods and services without the formalization of contracts. and payments to suppliers” who did not have a fuel distribution license.

It adds that payment to non-formalized personnel in the entity for more than 175 million pesos was detected; as well as an “irregular” incentive payment amounting to RD$4,438,268 and RD$1,339,500.

He explained that there were disbursements through unregistered checks and they do not identify the affected accounting accounts, for an amount of RD$5,777,767 and they found “personnel on the payroll with advisors for an amount of RD$7,672,200”.

In this sense, the Chamber of Accounts referred to different institutions related to the subject, according to the law, including the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic and the General Directorate of Government Ethics“so that they proceed with the pertinent measures” regarding the non-observances and irregularities that were found in the special investigation.

It is recalled that in the crosshairs of the supervisory body is, in addition, the National Council for Children and Adolescents (Conani)where he also found “irregularities” in the management of the year 2020, in the issuance of public funds, thus violating the provisions in Law 340-06 on Purchases and Contracting of Goods, Services, Works and Concessions.
