Government announces the extension of the Solidarity Digital Vale until February 2023

The President of the Republic Laurentino Cortizo Cohen announced this Friday the 30th, the extension of the digital voucher for two more months (January and February 2023) for the active beneficiaries of the Solidarity Digital Vale.

In this sense, to extend the benefit of the Solidarity Digital Vale, a series of requirements must be met, including:

  1. Complete the beneficiary data update form on the vale.panamasolidario.gob.pa website.
  2. This form must be updated between January 5 and 14, 2023.
  3. The Co-responsibility of the beneficiaries is maintained, established in Executive Decree No.11 of January 13, 2022 and those determined by the Interministerial Commission of the New Panama Solidarity Plan.
  4. There can only be one beneficiary of the Digital Voucher per household.

This program is an initiative of President Cortizo Cohen that is executed through the Ministry of Social Development, in order to alleviate the situation of thousands of Panamanian families affected by the economic crisis derived from the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is an immediate response from the National Government adopted since March 2020 when the pandemic began and with which more than 1 million 300 thousand Panamanians have been able to purchase food, basic necessities and medicines, as part of the Panama Solidarity Program.
