They dismantle another camp dedicated to drug trafficking in Zulia

This was reported by the head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez, through his account on the social network Twitter.

In this regard, Hernández Lárez specified that during patrol work in Zulia, more than 2,000 liters of A-1 jet fuel used by illegal groups associated with drug trafficking were detected to supply aircraft on unauthorized runways.

FANB active against illegal mining and drug trafficking

Likewise, the Chief of the Ceofanb gave an account of other actions carried out by the members of the FANB in ​​their fight against criminal gangs that seek to subvert public order and are dedicated to the mining illegal.

In this regard, he indicated that the FANB remains deployed in the fight against drug trafficking and in maintaining internal public order.

“FANB deployed throughout the national territory, in the fight against the scourge of drugs and the maintenance of the internal order of the homeland,” he said on the social network.

Operation Cacique Maracay 2023

Likewise, the head of the Ceofanb recalled that with Operation Cacique Maracay 2023, the FANB continues to patrol the elevations surrounding the Autopista Regional del Centro, towards the state of Aragua, to provide security in the face of the destabilization of social peace generated by criminal groups. .

In this sense, he explained that the elevations adjacent to the Autopista Regional del Centro “were used by the criminal gang ‘El Conejo’ to destabilize social peace.”

Illegal mining structure dismantled in Caura National Park

On the other hand, the Chief of Ceofanb stressed that the FANB in ​​its fight against illegal mining continues to dismantle illegal structures that cause damage to the ecosystem.

He stressed that in the Caura National Park, between Bolívar and Amazonas states, illegal mining structures were dismantled that arbitrarily violate the law and destroy the environment.

“In the Caura National Park, #FANB dismantling illegal mining structures that arbitrarily and without control violate the law destroying the environment,” he said on the social network.

“In Amazon #FANB deployed in sovereignty missions, dismantling illegal mining logistics structures operated by mafia groups that, ignoring our laws, undermine the soil, pollute the rivers and destroy the natural environment,” he added.

Likewise, he emphasized that all structures that operate for these purposes will be dismantled.

“All illegal mines that violate the territorial legal order in the states of Amazonas and Bolívar will be dismantled. Venezuela is a State of peace, law and justice, ”he added.

Hernández Lárez confirmed that the FANB has the task of “enforcing the laws that protect the environment and biodiversity in national parks and forest reserves.”
