The pre-candidate of Encuentro Ciudadano for the opposition primary, Delsa Solórzano, asked this Wednesday, June 7, the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, karim Khan, who will visit the next hours the country, “Advance in the process of achieving justice.”

Solórzano reminded the official that thousands of victims of the government of Nicolás Maduro yearn for justice.

“At this moment there are 300 political prisoners, most of them isolated and tortured in the dungeons of the dictatorship,” said Solórzano.

It is estimated that the official of the International Criminal Court will arrive in the country between the night of this Wednesday, June 7, or tomorrow, June 8.

Delsa Solórzano, a lawyer for various victims, has spent years denouncing to international organizations the systematic violation of the human rights of Venezuelans who oppose the Government.

The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, reported this Wednesday, June 7, that he will visit Venezuela after finishing his official visit to Colombia, where he met with President Gustavo Petro, various authorities and the Special Jurisdiction for Peace of that country to expand cooperation between the international court and that body.
