Senator Penadés forced to take leave

The senator had said that he was going to request a license when the prosecutor for Sexual Offenses, Alicia Ghione, summoned him to testify against the complaints that arise against him as a molester of boys when they were minors.

Penadés had to opt, this Thursday, the 4th, for the license as of May 8 so that they would not continue to generate rispities against him in nationalist stores.

Udelar lawyers are defending four victims who denounced Penadés.

There could also be two more complaints by other lawyers.

Romina Celeste, who initiated the complaints against Penadés, one of the victims, is the only name that has become public through her own mouth, the others are kept with due reserve.
