The Third Court of Instruction of the National District notified this Monday afternoon the accusation of the jellyfish case to each of the defendants in the corruption network attributed to former attorney Jean Alain Rodríguez. In turn, he set the preliminary trial for August 12 at 9:00 in the morning.
The delivery of the documents and evidence deposited by the Public Ministry, takes place in the courtroom of the First Collegiate Court of the National District, which is one of the largest in the Palace of Justice of Ciudad Nueva.
The lawyers, the defendants and the representatives of the companies have paraded through the courtroom, who from now on must prepare to exercise their defense in the preliminary hearing.

Through order No. 059-2022-TFIJ-00112 dated July 22, 2022, the titular magistrate of said court, Amauri Marcos Martínez Abreu, established the beginning of the process that will be heard in the courtroom of the Court of Civil Appeal. and Commercial of the National District, located in the Palace of Justice of the Courts located in the Center of the Heroes of Constanza, Maimón and Estero Hondo, due to the number of procedural parties involved in the case.
With this stage, the trial of the evidence begins, in which it will be determined if the accusation has sufficient merit to send the defendants to trial on the merits or otherwise an order of no place would be issued.
It is recalled that last week the court concluded the process of comparing the evidence deposited together with the indictment filed by the Public Ministry, which was carried out quickly and in a reasonable time.
The accusation has more than 12,000 pages and progress in the comparison process was possible due to the simultaneous work between the secretaries of the Coordination of the Investigating Courts of the National District and the Third Investigating Court of that jurisdiction.
