Patients of the San Miguel Arcángel Hospital will be able to make their appointments through the RAISA platform

The patients of the San Miguel Arcángel Hospital will be able to make their medical appointments through the RAISA platform, facilitating the process of obtaining appointments for more expeditious care and thus patients do not have to attend the facilities for this process.

This occurs after the head of the Ministry of Health (Minsa), Luis Francisco Sucre, formally inaugurated and launched this information system at the San Miguel Arcángel Hospital.

“RAISA has attended to 880 thousand people to date and its objective is that each of the Panamanians can make their medical appointment, from their work area and not have to ask for a day off for this purpose, as well as to carry out from our home with the purpose that all the hospitals of the Ministry of Health can have this platform and give peace of mind to all the patients who are treated in our health facilities, “said Sucre.

It is important to note that the Hospitals Aquilino Tejeira (Coclé), Hospital del Niño and Hospital Cecilio A. Castillero (Herrera), already have this platform for outpatient appointments.

Sucre explained that the appointment can be requested through https://raisa.minsa.gob.pa, once the person enters the link, a dialog box will open with automatic responses that will guide the applicant to offer such data. such as your email, patient ID, date of birth, reference record.

When the applicant completes all the RAISA steps, they will automatically submit a registration number. You will only have to wait to be contacted by the hospital appointment processing staff to confirm the date and time of the appointment.

It should be reiterated that the San Miguel Arcángel Hospital reported that among the medical specialties where you can process your appointment through RAISA are general surgery, peripheral vascular surgery, endocrinology, obstetric gynecology (surgical-cesarean sections, salpingectomy, HTA), adult pneumology , pediatric pulmonology, maxillofacial surgery, orthopedics, otorhinolaryngology, psychiatry, reconstructive plastic surgery, post-covid clinic (general medicine).
