Monkeypox in Bolivia: 86 active cases and 142 people recovered

The Ministry of Health and Sports, in its official epidemiological report of monkeypox cases, indicated that to date there are 86 active infections, 142 people recovered and during this day two new cases were presented. The accumulated amounts to 228 cases in total.

The city of Santa Cruz registers the highest number of positive cases with 205 accumulated cases and 297 discarded; Beni and Pando do not register positive cases; each one has 36 and 5 cases discarded respectively.

The report establishes that in La Paz there were 7 positive cases and 147 discarded; Oruro one positive case and 61 discarded; while in Potosí it has seven discarded cases and one tested positive.

There is a report that in Cochabamba they gave 122 negatives, 13 active; in Chuquisaca 14 negatives 1 active; Tarija 3 negatives.

In its 628 epidemiological report on covid-19, it was reported that on this day 47 tested positive, 658 patients recovered and 4,230 were discarded.

The report issued by the National Directorate of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health and Sports establishes that the national accumulated number of infected patients is 1,108,865.

The death of people during this day due to the virus was not regretted and the fatality rate so far reaches 0.1%.
