The Children’s Company La Colmenita will perform, this Saturday and Sunday, for the first time in Havana’s Teatro Martí with its most recent premiere, Fidel speaks… I need you! a tribute to the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution.
The functions, which on both days will begin at 4 in the afternoon, will also include a tribute to the late historian of Havana, Eusebio Leal, whose restoration work can be seen in the oldest part of the Cuban capital.
Fidel speaks… I need you!, is an emotional encounter with the life and work of the Commander in Chief that La Colmenita premiered last November in a memorable evening at the opening of the Center that bears the name of the eternal guerrilla.
The piece, which will go on stage at the Martí Theater this Saturday and Sunday, has the artistic direction of Carlos Tin Cremata and the musical by René Baños.
