The Ursec has two vacancies for engineers.
Those elected will have the function of advising and assisting in the various activities on technical aspects involved in the preparation and implementation of policies, criteria and guidelines on telecommunications services. Those activities include the preparation, individually or in groups, of reports, studies and field work.
Those who apply must have the Engineering degree in electronics and telecommunications issued by the University of the Republic or its equivalent granted by recognized institutions by the authorities.
Ursec indicated that additional training and specific experience will be evaluated as merits and background. Within this additional training, he pointed out training and continuous training (bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate), proven knowledge of English, mastery of computer tools, among others.
Another requirement that will be valued is the experience that the applicants have in activities carried out in the field of regulatory and operational management of telecommunications services and systems.
The usual place of work is in Montevideo. The workload is 40 hours per week with a nominal salary of $125,795.
The entry contract will be provisional and Once the deadline has elapsed, after a positive evaluation, he will become a budgeted official from Ursec.
