The Executive Power decreed on Saturday, April 26, for the funeral of Pope Francis
The President of the Republic, Professor Yamandú Orsi, decreed official duel for the day of the funeral of Pope Francis, which will take place on Saturday 26.
The decision was formalized through Decree S/N/025, with the signature of the Ministerial Cabinet in full.
The document, signed on Wednesday, April 23, highlights Francisco as a “tireless fighter for peace and human rights”, and highlights his life as an example of generosity, goodness and commitment to the well -being of the peoples.
The regulations determine that on the day of the funeral public buildings, including embassies abroad, barracks and air bases, will wear the national flag at half -mast. Public agencies, meanwhile, will not carry out official acts during the day.
