The initiative aims to contribute to the specific need for digital talent that the market needs, through intensive training of people interested in entering the information and communication technology (ICT) industry.

Meanwhile, there will be a Program promoted by institutions, in which those that are national and international benchmarks will participate and that will grant scholarships to people according to their socioeconomic status to allow admission to the program.

The event headed by the General Director of INEFOP, Pablo Darscht, and the Minister of Labor, Pablo Mieres, was attended by the President of the Republic, Luis Lacalle Pou, and the Secretary of the Presidency, Álvaro Delgado.

Those who are interested should contact a Bootcamp of the 4 validated: Holberton School, Senpai Academy, Hack Academy and the Technological University of Uruguay.

INEFOP trained more than 30,000 Uruguayans during 2021 and this year it is expected that more than 40,000 people will complete the courses in different disciplines. Nearly 85% of the people who complete training at the institute, after six months, manage to reinsert themselves into the labor market.
