The Cicpc arrested Yetsabeth del Carmen Galban Guerrero (21), nicknamed La Chichi, in Ciudad Ojeda (Zulia) for allegedly causing the death of her partner Carlos Luis Delfín Silva (22), an event that occurred in the Tasajera sector, Lagunillas municipality, state Zulia.
According to what was published on Instagram by the scientific police, Yetsabeth had an argument with Carlos, to whom he was accused of alleged infidelity. In the middle of the fight, the woman took a knife and thrust it into the man’s abdominal area, for which he was taken to a hospital where he died.
Later, the woman told the authorities that this wound was caused by Carlos accidentally. To support her statement, the woman said that Carlos was herding some goats and his pimp knocked him down, the man falling on a knife. Cicpc officials approached the site of the event and determined that such an accident could not have occurred. And that’s when the woman who offered clues about the murder that occurred in front of the couple’s daughter is subjected to questioning.
The woman was handed over to the Seventh Prosecutor of the Public Ministry.
Two men arrested for murder
Also in Zulia, but in the San Francisco municipality, two individuals allegedly involved in the homicide of Renato José González Ávila (32), which occurred on the night of May 27, were captured.
In this case, the detainees are identified as Wilian Alexander Jiménez Suárez (28), nicknamed El Jota, and Iván José Meléndez García (48), captured in the Bicentenario Sur and San Felipe sectors of the aforementioned Zulian municipality.
Ávila, working in his fast food store, located in the San Francisco urbanization, 158 avenue, was approached by El Jota, who asked him for an order and at the time of making the delivery, the antisocial drew a firearm and gave him multiple shots to the face leaving him without vital signs. He then fled on a motorcycle driven by Meléndez.
