An explosive device is detonated in the vicinity of a police station north of Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia.

The governor of Santander, Mauricio Aguilar, reports that 6 police officers were injured after an explosion outside the station in Bicaramanga, Colombia. They set up a Unified Command Post in that area of ​​the country to deal with the emergency.

The situation in Bucaramanga has become hostile after a motorist died in a traffic accident after trying to evade a police checkpoint where, according to witnesses, a police officer threw a cone at him, causing the accident.

The Police reported that the motorcycle did not have documentation to circulate on public roads.
After the death of this citizen, there have been protests in which stones and other objects are thrown at the police station.
