FVF and the National System of Orchestras sign a cooperation agreement

Federación Venezolana de Fútbol y el Sistema Nacional de Orquestas firmaron acuerdo de cooperación

The Venezuelan Football Federation (FVF) signed an alliance with the National System of Youth and Children’s Orchestras and Choirs of Venezuela (El Sistema) to enhance the capacities of children and young people in the fields of education, music and sports.

On the occasion of the 48th anniversary of The systemfounded in 1975 by the Venezuelan teacher and musician José Antonio Abreu, materializes the agreement that seeks to systematize the instruction and the collective and individual practice of music.

The signing of the agreement took place at the National Center for Social Action for Music and the president of the FVF, Jorge Giménez, was present, as well as the Executive Director of The system, Eduardo Méndez, who expressed their joy for this inter-institutional cooperation.

In this regard, Giménez stated: “it is an honor for us to be able to collaborate with this great National System of Orchestras, to which many things unite us. Both football and music are generators of spaces to share. We both strive to open opportunities for children and young people, we believe in the talent of our new generations and we work to create healthy and safe environments where they can develop”.

The highest representative of the Federation highlighted the importance of music and sports in the comprehensive training of Venezuelans and how this alliance will contribute to enhancing the capacities of thousands of children and young people in these areas.
