Four former police officers linked to 30-S are declared innocent

The Court of the National Court of Justice declared today the innocence of four former police officers linked to 30S, in an alleged attempt to assassinate former President Rafael Correa.

Today, Wednesday, November 24, 2021, the innocence of four former police officers who were sentenced to 12 years in prison for Attempt to assassinate former President Rafael Correa, the September 30, 2010. The Court of the National Court of Justice was made up of Byron Guillén (speaker), Walter Macías and Luis Rivera.

Óscar Ayerve, president of the 30S Victims Association, said -on Twitter- that G. Laso, E. Mullo, L. Guanotasig and J. Jetacama were six years in jail.
