Foreign Minister Faría congratulates the AN for the appointment of the Board of Directors

The Minister for Foreign Relations, Carlos Faría, congratulated the National Assembly (AN) on Thursday for appointing a new board of directors, complying with the provisions of the Magna Carta.

Through his account on the social network Twitter, he also celebrated the re-election of Jorge Rodriguezas president of the Legislative Branch, for the period 2023-2024.

«I congratulate Dip Jorge Rodríguez for his election as President of the AN and other members of its Board of Directors for the period 2023-24. I salute the constitutional, democratic and peace principles that our NA leads, we continue to work for the well-being of the Bolivarian people,” the Venezuelan diplomat wrote on his Twitter account.

During the first plenary session of the National Assembly held this Thursday, January 5, as established by the National Constitution, it was ratified as president for a new parliamentary period 2023-2024 Deputy Jorge Rodríguez.

The first Vice-Presidency will be assumed by Deputy Pedro Infante and the second Vice-Presidency by Deputy América Pérez, both from the Bloque de la Patria.

The proposal of the Bloque de la Patria in support of the nomination of the citizen Rosalba Gil as secretary of the National Assembly for the period 2023-2024 and the proposal of the Bloque de la Patria in support of the nomination of the citizen María Alejandra Hernández as the sub-secretary of the National Assembly for the period 2023-2024.
