“Fall” pigeon that tried to bring drugs into the Huancayo prison (VIDEO)

A particular member of the criminals who are serving a sentence in the Huancayo Prison, was captured by the policemen of the Internal Security Unit (USEINT – PNP) of the penitentiary center. A pigeon that was used to try to enter drugs was captured inside the prison facilities.

The incident happened today in the afternoon. The skillful policemen saw that a pigeon that was drinking water from a pool of water in front of the administrative offices of the USEINT had a bundle tied to its neck with a wick and when they managed to grab it they realized that it was a package made with a cloth light blue wrapped with masking tape. Great was his surprise when he saw that what it contained was nothing more than dry green seeds, stems and leaves, with a characteristic smell of marijuana. They notified the prison authorities and the Public Ministry of the fact, which are now investigating the origin of the pigeon and the drug.

The National Police indicated that the weighing of the package has not yet been carried out. For being an accomplice in an illegal act, the animal will be “contained” in a shelter where they will also seek to “resocialize” it and that its messenger abilities be used for more legal acts.
