On Wednesday night, leaders of the opposition coalition came to accompany the protesters to the main protest site, the Artigas Teachers’ Institute (IPA), located a few steps from the Legislative Palace, as well as other educational centers.

In Montevideo, one of the centers occupied is the Instituto de Profesores Artigas (IPA), Normal Institutes of Montevideo and the Training Institute in Social Education (IFES). In the interior of the country, the occupations are found in the Teacher Training Institute (IFD) of the Coast and the Regional Centers for Teachers (CERP) of the Center, the South and the East.
