The Secretariat of the Broad Front issued a statement on the resolution of union licenses voted by the multicolor coalition, which concluded that there were “omissions and conduct with criminal appearance” by former high school authorities and union leaders.

The nationalist deputy, Alfonso Lereté, told the press that there is “possible fraud, fraud, failure of officials to proceed to report crimes, abuse of functions, cover-up and forgery.”

First, the Broad Front showed “support and solidarity to the compañeros and compañeras who are subjected to public ridicule as a consequence of the decisions adopted by members of the government coalition in the investigative commission, which acted outside the powers that the law assigns him.”

Later, they understood that the complaints constitute a “clear political and trade union persecution by the coalition government in order to delegitimize the educational management carried out during the fifteen years of the Frente Amplio government.”

The left-wing party highlighted “the performance and commitment of the workers in education” and defended the agreements within the framework of collective bargaining, which were deepened during the FA governments.

They concluded by expressing their “concern” about the damage that “these actions generate” in democratic institutions and in the rights of citizens because the multicolored coalition “took Parliament hostage to execute persecutory and anti-democratic practices that obey revenge and personal ends.” .
