The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, expressed that it is necessary for the party’s bases to remain organized in the face of new victories.
This Thursday, during the swearing-in of the Base Structures of the PSUV, in the state of Barinas, he reiterated the importance of the strategic political organization within the party of the revolution.
“Organize ourselves for new victories, put aside egos, personalisms, groups, because here there is only one group, the group of Chavez, of the Bolivarian Revolution, of Socialism,” he said. God given hair.
He stressed that the grassroots structures enjoy an eminently popular power, which was expressed in the party’s grassroots elections.
“Today our party moves to a higher level of organization. We are organized to win elections, we are organized to resist, we are even organized to be reborn,” he noted.
He affirmed that the union is necessary to achieve the full development of the organization.
Likewise, he indicated that “the main enemy is North American imperialism and its lackeys, and we are defeating them and we are going to continue defeating them. Here in Venezuela they will not be able to with the Revolution,” said Cabello.
Barinas in resistance
He also noted that “the town of barinas it is in resistance, but not “waiting to see what happens. It is resisting in rebellion.”
During the act, Jorge Arreaza, political liaison of the party, stressed that “the people of Barinas gave a great lesson to the leadership of the red awning, because they were elected as militancy and they will be the ones who will strengthen the party and the militancy in the region.”
He specified that the revolutionary people of Barinas are the worthy heir “of that generation of men and women who fought for freedom.”
