The President of the Republic, Through a message to the Nation, he apologized for the social crisis situation that has occurred in different parts of the country and has left several deaths. But he recognized that a democratic state “should not allow the right to protest to be abused.”

“I apologize for this situation and for what has not been done to avoid these tragic events,” he said during his message to the Nation.

“A democratic state must recognize and guarantee the right to protest, but in no way must it allow this right to be abused,” he added.
