After the restart of the negotiations between the administration of Nicolás Maduro and representatives of the Unitary Platform of Venezuela, which occurred this Saturday, November 26, in Mexico City, the Venezuelan Civic Forum highlighted the importance of putting people at the center of all worries.
“We salute the responsible work of national and international political actors that made the signing of the Humanitarian Social Agreement possible, as a sign of the restart of the political dialogue based in Mexico,” read a statement published minutes after the agreement between the representatives of the government and the opposition.
After the resumption of talks between the two delegations, the organization sees progress that has materialized after an arduous exchange process in which the constructive involvement of social and political sectors committed to the search for Agreements for the People has been vital.
“Each achievement in this field confirms that this work must continue and be amplified,” they say.
