Asonahores breaks Expo Comercial participation record

The Association of Hotels and Tourism of the Dominican Republic (Aasonahores) announced that they achieved a historic participation in the 34th edition of their Commercial Exhibition, with an average of more than 4 thousand visitors per day, a figure that far exceeded the attendance of 2019, which was the last exhibition that was held due to the covid-19 pandemic.

On this occasion, dedicated to the United States for being the main source country of tourists For the Dominican Republic, more than 400 delegates were registered as official buyers at the event, which reflects an increase of more than 30% in the business impact of this fair in the tourism industry.

A total of 192 companies participated, occupying 410 stands, all suppliers of national and foreign products and services, of which 30% participated for the first time, as new members of the fair, with a broad portfolio of proposals that promote commercial exchange in the sector.

Simultaneously, an agenda of more than 20 talks and press conferencesas well as activities and workshops, having for the first time academic offers from the Technological Institute of Santo Domingo, Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra and the National Institute of Professional Technical Training.

The Commercial Exhibition, the largest of its kind in the Caribbean, also served to achieve important signings of inter-institutional agreements.
