According to the epidemiological report of the Departmental Directorate of Health, in the period from 09/04/2022 to 09/10/2022, 1,660 new cases and 6 deaths with a positive result for COVID-19 were detected in the country.
From the start of the pandemic to 09/10/2022 there are 982,846 cases and 7,462 deaths with a positive result for COVID-19. The active cases until 09/10/2022 are 1,515.
During the week, a total of 16,356 tests were carried out and the percentage of positive cases was 10.2%. As of 09/10/2022, there are 2.7% of ICU beds occupied by COVID-19.
To date, 4 people are hospitalized with COVID-19 positives in the department: 2 in a private provider room, 1 in a private provider CTI, and 1 in a public provider room.
