The Supervisory Agency for Investment in Energy and Mining (Osinergmin) published today the draft Resolution for the Setting of the Rural Electricity Rate for Non-Conventional Supplies (Photovoltaic Systems) and its application conditions, applicable to the period between August 17, 2022 and August 16, 2026.
Through the Resolution of the Board of Directors of Osinergmin No. 072-2022-Os/Cd, published in El Peruano, it is stipulated that the rural electricity rate will be applied to electricity supplies, belonging to an isolated rural electricity system that is served exclusively by photovoltaic systems.
In addition, it is mentioned that Osinergmin may authorize the application of said rate for non-conventional supplies served with systems of other technologies (wind, biomass, mini hydroelectric or hybrid plants) based on an equivalent performance of said systems (kW.h/month ).
