With strength and patriotic commitment, the revolutionary forces, the people and the workers of the different centrals of the country begin to gather in Caracas, with the aim of mobilizing through the streets to commemorate the Day of the Worker and in support of the labor claims and the President of the Republic, Nicolás Ripe.
For this May 1st, the Bolivarian Socialist Central of the workers Women and Workers (CBST) and the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) invited the Venezuelan people to mobilize to defend the gains made during the Bolivarian Revolution.
It should be remembered that the starting points of the march are Ali Primera Park, on Sucre avenue, and the other point is at the Cantv headquarters, on Libertador avenue, to then go to Plaza O’Leary, in El Silencio .

The governor of the state of Sucre, Gilberto Pinto, stressed that this day “we must honor the heroes and heroines, the workers, and we tell President Maduro that he has our full support. We have the armor to continue on the side of the working class, field workers.
For Pinto, the Venezuelan worker is a reference for emancipation and represents dignity in the midst of unilateral coercive measures.
Little Red Hood, present at the rally, affirmed “We are in Revolution and we must go out into the streets to express our love for Chávez and Maduro, nobody is afraid.”
From the concentration at the Cantv headquarters, Rafael Avendaño, who came from Lara state, said that “our working class comes out on this 137th anniversary of the struggle in Chicago, not only to support President Maduro but also to promote the labor claims”.
“We went out to build a different world towards socialism. Imperialism has tried to subdue the Venezuelan working class, the response has been resistance, struggle and organization”, he added.
Finally, he added: “We have to deepen the street agitation to say no to imperialism. With the production and construction of socialism we will defeat imperialism”.
Milagros López, a Sinafum delegate, also stressed that “since Hugo Chávez arrived we have been in the fight, and I tell President Nicolás Maduro that he has our support. Here we are, we will live and we will win.”
Likewise, Gustavo Savedra, from Lara, stressed that the working class must understand the extraordinary efforts that President Nicolás Maduro has made after the blockade that the country is suffering.
“We need to generate all the technological progress so as not to depend on any power,” he said.
Luis Barrios, from Monagas, stressed: “We have come in solidarity to support the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, the worker president. We are strongly supporting all workers in the country”.
