SANTO DOMINGO.- The woman who stole the baby from the San Lorenzo de Los Mina maternity hospital on January 21 at 3:00 in the morning, pretended she was pregnant.

After stealing the girl inside a package, the woman took a taxi of seven that had parked at that time in the morning in front of the hospital and went to a neighborhood in the Capital, where she has a husband, there she made the first stop. , then moved to her home in Arenoso, María Trinidad Sánchez province, where she has another husband.

The woman, who until now has not been identified by the authorities, is imprisoned in the Felicidad detachment, in the Los Mina sector and said that she is going to reveal “many things, many details.”

Keraldis Pacheco’s daughter saw the world last Saturday in the postpartum area of ​​Los Mina Maternity and a woman dressed as a nurse, so far unidentified, stole the girl at dawn on Sunday.

The little girl’s relatives asked the authorities to identify the hospital staff who were complicit in the kidnapping.

“We want to know who did that, for what purpose they did it and who was the accomplice here inside the hospital because that woman did not do that alone,” said the great-grandmother of the girl who was recovered Tuesday morning by police officers. Directorate of Criminal Investigations (Dicrim).

The baby was recovered in a house not yet by the authorities around 6:20 in the morning and was transferred to the aforementioned health center for the medical evaluation of the place, they confirmed to the journalist Joniol Ramírez of Telesistema Canal 11.

The authorities contacted the infant’s relatives who identified her, while the hospital will carry out a DNA test.
