The clock marked 4:45 am this Wednesday, July 13, when police units helped a 23-year-old girl, who did not manage to reach the hospital on time and gave birth in a police patrol, and it was a police officer who help in childbirth in Soná, province of Veraguas.

In a matter of minutes, the patrol car became a makeshift delivery room and a police officer its midwife.

The young woman was transferred from the Hicaco sector to the Soná Medical Center, but she did not arrive and the police units assisted her and she was able to bring a beautiful baby into the world.

Later, the mother and her baby, who are safe and sound, were taken to the hospital.
