The secretary general of Peru Libre, Vladimir Cerronrecommended to the prime minister, Aníbal Torres, that the meeting of the National Agreement be held after the week in which the presidential vacancy motion against Pedro Castillo will be debated.
The former regional governor considered that the organizations that have been convened for this meeting could feel “used” because they currently live in an environment of political polarization.

“Being close to an event that is going to be debated in Parliament and because the organizations may feel used, the recommendation has been that the meeting be held after these parliamentary events scheduled for next week, specifically the vacancy motion,” declared to the press.
Likewise, he specified that the National Agreement should not be a meeting convened only exceptionally, but an initiative that is constantly scheduled so that a balance is made of the agreements that are achieved.
Cerrón explained that in the meeting with the prime minister it was agreed that among the issues that will be developed in this activity will be governability, political stability and the “claims that workers have in different unions.”
