Virtual fitting rooms, custom filters, feature comparers or delivery schedules These are some of the functionalities that ecommerce sites have available, and that some Uruguayan companies already use, he commented in the framework of the Fenicio e-show, organized by Fenicio, an electronic commerce platform focused on retailers, which manages more than 400 online sales channels, in 40 different Uruguayan and regional industries (90% in Uruguay).

In 2018 the platform did business for US$11 million, and in 2022 that figure reached US$80 million. For this year the team hopes to exceed US$ 100 million. The co-founder highlighted the progress and reflected on the progress of ecommerce in Uruguay, “these are Uruguayan companies that sell to Uruguayans,” he concluded.
