[Video] With a shotgun, 80-year-old grandfather injured a thief who tried to rob his store

In California, an elderly man who owns a a liquor store, fended off a group of armed robbers.

According to the authorities, the 80-year-old grandfather would have managed to shoot one of the subjects in the arm, for which he ran from the place.

The event was recorded on video. In surveillance footage obtained by Telemundo, the masked suspect is seen pointing a rifle at the liquor store owner.

“He shot me in the arm!” the thief is heard yelling as he hurried out of the store.

After that, a getaway vehicle is seen already waiting for him outside along with two other men, who participated as accomplices in the robbery.

The injured man, 23, has not been publicly identified, but He was found at a local hospital due to a gunshot wound.

For its part, the Sheriff’s Office reported that the young man remains in critical condition, but stable and will be admitted to jail when he is released.
