Venezuela has the task of consolidating its diversified model, not depending on oil, to advance in export options linked to the food security and sovereignty sector, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized on Thursday.
During statements broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV) from the Republic of Azerbaijanthe Head of State said that “Venezuela has to consolidate its market model, not dependent on oil, we are going to continue developing oil, gas, and generate in the diversified economy.”
“We are called to bring investments, knowledge, technologies and markets to Venezuelan businessmen, interesting days will come,” he said.
In this sense, the National President summoned all private companies, all public companies, “everyone who produces something in Venezuela, this large market of millions of inhabitants who have great economic power”, to expand the supply of the country beyond oil.
He also stressed that he is evaluating the proposals received on his international tour of Eurasia and North Africa, by businessmen and governments, to invest in Venezuela.
“We are looking at a set of proposals that will become an action plan. We have been in a number of days of work with businessmen, to bring investments, knowledge and technology, to create a market for Venezuelan businessmen », he indicated.
President Maduro expressed his pleasure during the international tour he has been carrying out since June 7, to strengthen ties of friendship and cooperation with other nations, because he has received various signs of affection and good treatment from peoples and governments, who ratified Venezuela’s willingness to maintain closer cooperation.
“The time has come to take a leap that adapts to the new era, a new era of closer cooperation on all issues,” he stressed.

The Venezuelan Head of State pointed out that during his visit to Qatar “I had an extraordinary day in every way, reviewing all investment plans of Qatari businessmen in oil, gas, petrochemicals, tourism, food production, trade.”
Caracas-Doha connection
Starting in October, a direct connection flight between Caracas and Doha will be established, President Maduro announced during his statements, who also added that a set of proposals were evaluated that will later be actions.

Currently, the Venezuelan Head of State is making an international tour of Eurasian and North African countries, to strengthen and promote commercial, political, cultural, and food relations with countries of the world.
“This entire tour has served to be able to update all governments on the situation in Venezuela, given the brutal campaign of all these years against our country,” Maduro remarked.
Previously, the National President visited turkish, Algeria, Iran, Kuwait Y qatar. This Thursday it makes its sixth stop in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

“We are arriving in Azerbaijan with a brilliant, successful, victorious tour that leaves great results for our country, for this path of recovery, diversification and development of the economy”, highlighted the Head of State.
As part of the visit to this new country, President Maduro will review the bilateral cooperation agenda between the two countries, in tourism, agriculture, science and technology.
