Venezuela registered 39 coronavirus infections, 35 due to community transmission and 4 imported, reported the Minister of Communication, freddy nanez.
In the balance offered on Twitter, he said that the community cases are located in the following states: Miranda 17, Caracas 8, Apure 4, Aragua 4, Zulia 1, Yaracuy 1.
Miranda presents the highest number of infections in 5 of its 21 municipalities: Independencia 9, Acevedo 5, Baruta 1, Plaza 1, Zamora 1.
Ñáñez explained that of the 4 imported cases, 2 come from Mexico, 1 from Panama and 1 from the Dominican Republic. All with entrance through La Guaira.
“We reached a total of 523,059 confirmed cases, 1,100 active cases and 516,247 recovered people, which represents 99% of infections,” he explained.
In addition the official indicated that To date there are 672 patients who are asymptomatic, 342 with mild acute respiratory failure, 60 with moderate acute respiratory failure and 26 in the Intensive Care Unit.
The minister reported that this Monday no deaths were reported and the figure remains at 5,712 in the national territory.
