All people, Brazilian or foreign, who enter Brazil by air, from this Saturday (11), will have to present negative test documents for covid-19 and vaccination, otherwise they will have to go through a quarantine of five days in the destination city.
In the event of a flight with connections or stopovers in which the traveler remains in a restricted area of the airport, the aforementioned periods will be considered in relation to boarding the first leg of the trip.
Until then, the traveler from another country had to show only the Traveler’s Health Declaration (DSV), document filled out on the website of the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa), and a negative RT-PCR test performed up to 72 hours before boarding.
The inter-ministerial ordinance, which deals with restrictions, measures and exceptional and temporary requirements for entry into the country, due to the risks of contamination and dissemination of the SARS-CoV-2 (covid-19) coronavirus, is published in Official Diary of the Union this Thursday (9).

The ordinance says that they are exempt from presenting a document proving the performance of tests to screen for infection by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus (covid-19), provided that all companions present documents with a negative or undetectable result, of the RT laboratory type -PCR, performed within 72 hours prior to boarding, or antigen test, performed within 24 hours prior to travel.
