The president of the National Primary Commission (CP), Jesús María Casal, reported that until July 24, names can be changed on the ballot for the primary elections. «Until July 23 there can be a substitution (of candidates) with effects on the ballots; after that date, if the substitution occurs, it would not have an effect on the ballot, “he explained.
This Saturday, June 24, the application process for the primary elections ended and 14 people registered: Andrés Caleca, Andrés Velásquez, Carlos Prosperi, César Pérez Vivas, César Almeida, Delsa Solórzano, Freddy Superlano, Gloria Pinho, Henrique Capriles, José Hernández , Luis Farías, María Corina Machado, Roberto Enríquez and Tamara Adrián.
Casal considered that the primary process “continues to be very robust, which will undoubtedly reinforce the electivity of whoever wins and will allow us to achieve that objective of having a unitary candidate and a very strong candidacy to win the elections.” presidential”.
