Commissioner Pablo de Greiff referred to the videos that have circulated on social networks about the crimes committed in the framework of Russia’s excessive attack on Ukraine and specified that “We all know that as horrible as these videos are, they don’t always count as evidence in court. And part of what we want to do is accumulate evidence that can be used precisely for judicial purposes.”

“It’s going to include a much larger group of people and research experts. Some of them will be in the field and others in neighboring countries and will work under the direction of the three commissioners, who will also travel regularly both to Ukraine and to the place where the secretariat is located,” he added.
