The president of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), magistrate Gladys Gutiérrez, swore in judges who will serve in different courts of appeals in criminal matters.
They will also perform functions as ruling judges in charge of the presidency of criminal judicial circuits, in the judicial districts of the Metropolitan Area of Caracas and the states of Bolívar, Falcón, Nueva Esparta and Zulia.
In this regard, the magistrate stated that the process of restructuring, reorganization and reinvigoration of the Judiciary has been “the engine of a series of actions, which have led to this designation, among others, which will be progressively advanced.”
In this sense, he emphasized that “the expectation we have in terms of their increasing and better ethical, moral and professional performance, is also accompanied by a growing interest of all the magistrates who make up the highest court to accompany them in their needs. ».
Likewise, the president of the Venezuelan high court expressed her support for the new judges who had just been sworn into their positions: “You can count on all of us for small and large matters, because we will be by your side so that the management is excellent. ».
He reiterated that the health of the Justice System depends on the suitability to assume the function and to maintain dignity and design as duties of justice and as sources of Law.
The act, held in the Auditorium of the Plenary Chamber of the TSJ, was attended by Magistrates from the different Chambers that make up the Supreme Court of Justice, as well as judicial servants.
