The authorities reported the seizure of 1,129 packages that boast cocaine (1.1 tons) in the midst of an interdiction operation in the Caucedo Multimodal Port.
A note says that they acted the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), State intelligence agencies and members of the Public ministry, supported by Terminal Security.

The text indicates that the agents, accompanied by soldiers and canine units, outlined dozens of containers for export in the verification area. “Then, and as part of the process, they were inspected by X-ray machines, observing foreign substances in one,” it contains.

He states that later and in the presence of a deputy prosecutor, they checked the container more rigorously and found 33 packages with packages of the substance wrapped in adhesive tape.
The authorities have determined that the shipment would be shipped to the port of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, camouflaged in a load of shoes. The document states that the Public Ministry and the DNCD have opened an investigation.
The anti-narcotics agency reported that at the moment there are no people detained.
