The Social Security Fund (CSS), reported that as of this Monday, September 19, visits to hospitalized patients are reactivated, at the national level, after the announcement of Executive Decree No. 122 of September 14, 2022 that eliminates physical distancing, capacity and health restriction measures, in force as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The general director of the entity, Dr. Enrique Lau Cortés, gave instructions to all the executing units of the country so that the visit to a family member per patient per day in the hospitalization rooms is allowed, which may not exceed one hour and The family member must comply with biosecurity measures such as the mandatory use of a mask and hand washing, prior to entering the room.

“Patients in Covid-19 rooms and patients in rooms with special precautionary measures whose visit will be evaluated, according to the condition and safety of the patient, are excepted from the measure,” said Lau Cortés.
