The Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice admitted the generic habeas corpus in favor of Bruno Marabel, convicted of the fivefold homicide in the house of horror.
Since September of last year, Bruno Marabel has been denouncing death threats from the First Capital Command (PCC). However, nothing was done to provide him with protection behind bars.
That is why the court determined that there is a serious risk to your life and safety that he continue in the place where he is currently confined, for which reason a generic habeas corpus was granted in his favor.

The Court also urged the Director of the Concepción Regional Penitentiary and the Execution Judge competent to continue adopting special security measures in favor of the inmate.
In addition to recommending the Ministry of Justice to arbitrate necessary measures to ensure the safety of Marabel and provide a suitable place.

Bruno Marabel, syndicated as ehe “monster from the house of horror” is incarcerated today in the Concepción Regional Prisonafter passing through several penitentiaries in the country since 2018, the year in which the remembered five-fold homicide occurred in the “House of Horror”, located on Oliva and Montevideo, in the microcenter of Asunción.
The victims of that fivefold homicide were Dalma Rojas Rodas, 23, of her 4 and 6-year-old children, her mother Elva Graciela Rodas and her father Julio Rojas. The Trial Court sentenced Marabel, on November 2, 2020, to a 40-year prison sentence.
In an interview given last year to a press outlet, The convict confessed that he usually has “normal fights” inside prison, but that they do not go to major. However, he said that the threats from the First Capital Command (PCC) do not leave him alone.
“I can’t study well here because the PCC put a price on my head. They are everywhere, that’s why I asked for my transfer to a jail where they are not. I have no problems with the Rotela Clan, but I do with the PCC,” Marabel said at the time. He even commented that during a riot they tried to kill him and he was saved by the prison authorities.
