A total of 1,135 marijuana plants were unearthed from a plot of land located in El Rosario, Pedro María Freites municipality (Cantaura), according to military sources.
The procedure was carried out by troops assigned to Detachment 521 of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) who detected and destroyed a drug processing laboratory, a camp and five dens which were used for the cultivation of narcotic and psychotropic substances.
At the site they also seized 800 liters of diesel, three 12-gauge shotguns, twenty-two 12-gauge cartridges and the same number of 9mm caliber percussion, details the report.
Enzapata drug
In another procedure, agents from the Regional Anti-Drug Intelligence Unit No. 45 located 84 cocaine wrappers hidden in 42 pairs of shoes in a parcel company located in La Guaira. The aforementioned parcel was destined for Italy.
And in the passenger terminal of San Antonio del Táchira, the military seized three panels of cocaine that were hidden inside a vehicle battery. The panelas added 3,340 kilos.
During this operation, the occupants of the vehicle were arrested: Johan Sebastián Villano Galvis and Dagoberto Valdés Gelves, of Colombian nationality, who came from Cúcuta bound for Sucre.
